Current Projects
Data Haven is an interactive Internet-based data resource available to all organizations and citizens interested in understanding the Greater New Haven area and its assets, opportunities, and challenges. NCS was initially brought onboard the site team to provide CSS style sheets for a site re-design. After that phase was finished, Data Haven asked for additional assistance with the PHP and mySQL that runs their site.
USMCR I am designing and building v2.0 of an existing system that provides scheduling and reporting functions to my reserve unit.
GeoData Consultants, Inc. is a GIS specialty data provider. GDC has retained NCS to revamp their web site.
Calvert-Henderson and I are working on a CSS retrofit to their existing, tables-based layout. The challenge on this project is to keep the Look 'n Feel of the revamped pages as true as possible to the existing site.
Completed Projects
USMC As the Information Management Officer for 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) and 4th MAW I have developed numerous web applications and sites. Most of this work has been focused on providing web services and applications to support existing work processes. Usually, the final product created unexpected benefits as a greater percentage of the organization could share information more freely. This often results in unexpected and positive emergent behavior.
AES The ATO Execution System is a flight schedule management system that I co-developed while assigned to 3rd MAW. The web application has been in daily use in Iraq since 2004.
Hurricane Hutch is a steel locker designed to keep your valuables safe during a natural disaster. NCS created a Shout3D animation for the Hurricane Hutch web site.
Pending Projects
Shout3D is a Java-based 3D rendering engine for web browsers. It provides a plug in-free means of viewing 3D animations and visualizations. NCS will be assisting the Shout team in creating a commercial product based on their technology.
